We are committed to serving our local community by partnering with schools, hospitals, veterans, healthcare facilities, first responders, and individuals in need. Creating meaningful connections that inspire hope, healing, confidence, and lasting positive change.
Every dog in this story starts the same way: as a puppy in a volunteer's home, learning that the world is safe. Months of patient work follow, turning instinct into skill and skill into service. It is slow, deliberate work — and it is the heart of everything Hearts of Gold Legacy Canines does.

Volunteer raisers give each puppy its first year — the socialization and patience that every working dog's career begins with. Raisers get training, support, and a front-row seat to the whole journey.
About puppy raisingRaising and training a service dog takes years of work and real money — tens of thousands of dollars over a dog's preparation. The person who needs that dog never sees a bill. Donors, volunteers, and community partners carry the cost so the partnership can begin debt-free.
